It is easy to recognize a wrap dress and it is probably one of the most feminine pieces of clothing. It also has been made popular by a female fashion designer, Diane von Fürstenberg in 1972. But what is a wrap dress? Just like the name suggests, it is a dress that wraps around the body. The dress is designed with ties attached onto it to make the dress stay on. This dress has a front closure, much like a bathrobe and one of the sides wraps on top of the other forming a V-neck. The ties then go around the woman’s body right on her waist line and are tied together at her back. The ties might even be long enough to wrap once again to be knotted in the front or on a side.
